How To Build a Fire is a multimedia project by Kerri Flannigan, growing out of recorded calls with their father, Mike, a fire scientist, and conversations with people who live and work with fire. Part family story, part research, the project follows fire through memory, landscape, and a changing world. Website made by Joey Zaurrini, with additional design by Titiksha Rao.
